The Signs of a Transmission Problem
- Burning smell: While this may be an indicator for other problems, transmission fluid may be overheating and burning. If this occurs, visit us right away!
- Shaking or grinding: If your car shakes or you hear a grinding sound when you change gears, that is an indication of the transmission needing repair.
- No response when shifting gears: If you're trying to get your car from park to drive and it does not respond, it is highly likely a transmission problem. On the flip side, if your vehicle struggles to change gears, this could be a sign that the transmission fluid needs replacing.
